if we knew how
as beautiful as you, as beautiful as we could do
still hoping that one day you will find it as beautiful as me
it is there and every day that passes, i caress it to make it more beautiful
which is followed me wherever i go, wherever you are not
which still belongs to me
this gift that i cherish everyday
the same gift i carry for so long and which has never lost value
the first day that i spent without telling it to you
