My Name

A Bagatelle By Samuel Nyholm

You sometimes wish your name would be not more than two letters. You want to lure those looking for you. Not to be found and disappear. Big, big eyes shining over you. They are round, pale blue with black holes in the middle. You refuse to see yourself through the eyes of those who searching for you. The simple words that you refuse to write down. You do not so much want to listen when those looking for you calls your name. You do not want to listen any longer, despite the voice being quiet and pale.
All the laughter from yesterday, when you were great, echoes no more in your empty heart.
